The Amsterdam Oak Double 4ft6 LFE Bed Frame would make a stunning and serviceable bedroom centrepiece for either a modern or more traditional setting. The oak constructed bed has been given a finish that creates a warm and inviting ambience that would suit a wide range of existing bedroom furniture. Alternatively, the Amsterdam would co-ordinate with the Marlborough range of bedroom separates which boast a similar construction making for a uniformed bedroom image.
The bed uses a sprung slatted base system which allows each slat to affix individually by fitting caps from either side of the frame into the centre rail producing a slight upward curve. The natural bounce created by the slats adjusts to individual body profiles where most pressure is exerted making for a more comfortable sleeping platform. A slatted base is considered hygienic and mattress-friendly, allowing air to circulate and breathe and responding to personal movement.
