The chairs are supplied fully assembled and maintain that country rustic image, having a wide slatted back and cross bar to the base for added stability and strength and the chunky style legs of the table makes for an exceptionally robust dining experience. The table has the added benefit of a centrally located butterfly extension leaf which is operated by an easy-glide hidden mechanism and which extends the table by a further 50 cm, ideal for dinner parties and those unexpected guests!! The leaf can be folded neatly away when not required, allowing the two sides to be easily pushed together displaying a smooth and almost seamless connection. The Dorset 6 Seater Dining Set is constructed mainly from selected American White Solid Oak, with some limited veneers. The lacquer finish allows the natural grain patterns to be exhibited in awe-inspiring glory. A more traditional image is achieved by the utilisation of slight distressing for added authenticity, and the subtly rounded corners and dark brown faux leather seat pads, complete a simply stunning piece.
