Constructed using quality materials the Torino Daybed is particularly ideal for use as a first time bed, with the benefit of one full length frameworked side offering extra protection. The traditional slatted design incorporates dainty shell-like castings to the tops and is completed with delicately arched top rails to each side. The daybed also has the benefit of a generous space underneath, which could be used for extra storage or for bed linen if the daybed is being regularly utilised as dual purpose.
The sprung slatted base of the bed uses a series of curved wooden slats, which are positioned in a slight upward curve to act like a spring and designed to adjust to an individual's sleeping profile. They allow for independent movement and adjustment, making the sleeping surface more comfortable, supportive and mattress friendly and provide excellent hygienic ventilation. The slats offer equal comfort for seating purposes and are durable and robust.
